What ZB.com is
ZB.com was a cryptocurrency exchange of Chinese origin, among the longest-running in the sector. It was founded in early 2013 as CHBTC ("China Bitcoin"), one of the first cryptocurrency trading platforms in China; in 2016 its chief executive was Li Dawei, according to the timeline published by ZB itself. On 30 September 2017, after the Chinese authorities' crackdown, CHBTC closed trading in China and continued abroad as ZB.com (中币, Zhongbi, in Chinese). It offered spot trading, margin trading and futures with leverage, which amplifies losses as well as gains, fiat currency purchases through OTC merchants and its own token, ZB. The same group also controlled ZBG, another exchange launched in 2018.
