The role

The Freelance Journalist will research, pitch, and produce news stories, features, and explainers about blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and Web3 for Spaziocrypto®'s digital channels. Typical responsibilities include monitoring market and regulatory developments, interviewing industry participants, verifying sources, and transforming complex topics into clear, accurate, and engaging articles.

The journalist will collaborate with the editorial team to refine story angles, meet deadlines, and align coverage with the platform's editorial standards and the interests of its community. This is a temporary, remote role offering flexibility in both schedule and location. It requires reliable communication and consistent delivery of assignments.

Qualifications

• Strong writing and news-writing skills, with the ability to produce clear, accurate, and engaging journalism on complex topics.
• Experience in research and source verification, including the analysis of market data, regulatory updates, and technical materials.
• Ability to draft press releases and other editorial announcements aligned with the brand's voice and messaging.
• Familiarity with broadcast or multimedia formats, including podcasts, video segments, and live streams, is an advantage.
• Solid understanding of blockchain, cryptocurrencies, DeFi, and Web3 trends, or a strong motivation to learn quickly.
• Previous experience in financial, technology, or crypto journalism is an advantage.
• Excellent command of written English; additional languages are a plus.
• Reliable remote-working habits, including time management, responsiveness, and adherence to editorial guidelines and deadlines.
