The global blockchain and cryptocurrency community is abuzz as the European Blockchain Convention (EBC) prepares for its 11th edition.

Scheduled for 16-17 October 2025 at Fira Barcelona Montjuic, the EBC has consolidated its status as Europe's leading blockchain innovation event. Four Key Paths Drive the Agenda

The agenda of this year's European Blockchain Convention is well structured into four key tracks (tracks), designed to address the most vital areas of the modern blockchain ecosystem.

The Digital Assets & Finance track will dive into the world of tokenization, stablecoins, ETFs, DeFi and real-world asset tokenization (RWA), exploring institutional adoption and risk management in both US and European markets.

The Web3 track shifts focus to startups, VC, NFT, DAO, gaming and the metaverse, with a special focus on the intersection of AI with Web3, social impact and community building.

The Infrastructure track will address technical minds, covering topics such as Ethereum and Bitcoin Layer 2s, interoperability, privacy (ZK technology), liquid restaking and Decentralised Physical Infrastructure Networks (DePIN).

Finally, the Policy & Regulation track is essential for navigating the industry, addressing critical issues such as the MiCA regulatory framework, AML/KYC compliance, cryptocurrency taxation and the SEC vs. Ethereum, as Europe shapes its regulatory landscape on digital assets.

Enhanced Networking and Collaboration

In addition to the main sessions, the European Blockchain Convention 2025 is set to enhance its networking capabilities with a variety of additional events.

Building on the success of more than 30 independently organised gatherings in the 2023 edition, this year will feature networking dinners, industry parties, exclusive meetings for VCs and investors, strategy sessions for C-Level executives and partner collaboration events.

These side events are specifically designed to help attendees make meaningful connections in relaxed and interactive settings, greatly enriching the overall convention experience.

With the global blockchain market expected to reach $67.4 billion by 2026, events such as the EBC are key to understanding key trends such as the rise of DeFi and RWA tokenization, fostering collaboration and promoting the much-needed adoption of this technology across various industries, from finance to gaming and supply chain management.
