Security
On 8 September 2025 SwissBorg suffered the theft of around 193,000 SOL (roughly 41 million dollars) from the SOL Earn programme: not a breach of its own infrastructure, but a supply-chain attack on the API of its staking partner Kiln, with malicious instructions hidden inside an unstaking transaction. The incident affected around 1% of users and 2% of assets under management; the company announced full compensation for affected users out of its own treasury and published transparent updates on what had happened. The public handling of the incident is part of the platform's trust record, for better and for worse: the episode is a reminder that even regulated Earn programmes rest on third-party providers.
