Who he is
Charles Hoskinson is an American mathematician and entrepreneur, among the best-known figures in the blockchain industry. In 2013-2014 he was one of the co-founders of Ethereum, which he left over disagreements about the nature of the project (he wanted a for-profit company; the non-profit foundation prevailed). In 2015 he founded IOHK with Jeremy Wood, today Input Output Group (IOG), the engineering and research company that built Cardano, launched in 2017 with an academic approach based on peer-reviewed research and functional programming.
