The spotlight is back on what is arguably the main Italian event on cryptocurrencies and decentralised finance: the Blockchain Week Rome. The 2024 edition is the fifth for this event first organised in 2019 and since then always repeated, even during the pandemic.
The absolute star of the event, needless to say, will be the queen of cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin. It could not have been otherwise since halving is still a hot topic and BTC has achieved what can be described as a historic goal with its entry into the world of traditional finance, following the approval of ETFs on Wall Street.
The Roman event will last four days and will be divided into two stages. On Spaziocrypto we anticipate all that, as of today, is known about the event, so that you can choose the most interesting day on which to go to the capital, if you feel like taking part in the benchmark event on the Italian scene.
Training Courses at Blockchain Week Rome
On 28 and 29 May, BWR will host two appointments with Ateneo Impresa, which will be part of a single training course, suitable for both beginners and seasoned investors. The full immersion will be held at the Cinema Farnese, in Campo dei Fiori, number 56. It will last 14 hours, divided of course into 7 per day. It is a course defined as intensive since it covers no less than 6 training modules.
Blockchain Week Rome, after all, is intended to be an all-round event and to give a comprehensive perspective on the Web3 landscape. It will begin with a theoretical module, focusing on the economic history of blockchain. Afterwards, it will turn to a more practical teaching and will go over all the functions of the technology underpinning the cryptocurrency universe, before entering into the merits of Bitcoin, with the last two modules, delving into its architecture and potential.
The Course Professors
During the 14 hours in the classroom, the opportunity will be taken to deviate a little from the syllabus and touch on topics such as Web3, NFT and Metaverse. The basics of crypto trading and the use of the blockchain for business will also not be neglected.
The professors who will take turns are leading personalities in the industry: Romolo De Stefano, Gian Luca Comandini, Alessandro Ghiani, Luca Bertelli, Riccardo Masutti, Cristian Palusci, Georgy Sokolov, Pierpaolo Foderà and Sara Noggler. Anyone attending the entire course will receive a certificate of attendance at the end. It will also be possible to share one's CV with all the sponsors of Blockchain Week Rome, entering it in a special database.
The International Summit
For the last two days, those of 30 and 31 May, The BWR will move to Palazzo Brancaccio, in Viale del Monte Oppio, number 7. Over the course of 48 hours, it will be possible to attend more than thirty speeches and interesting live panels, given by leading Italian - and, in some cases, also foreign - exponents from the Web3 sector. Inside the venue, two stages will be set up and some events will be held concurrently. It is therefore advisable to go at least in pairs and split up from time to time if you do not want to miss any of the events.
The so-called Crypto Business Networking Area will be activated during the Summit. As is always the case during events of this kind, this is the real added value that such an initiative can offer its visitors. It will be possible to meet both other cryptocurrency enthusiasts and known professionals and experts, who can shed light on the future prospects of the Web3 universe. Not infrequently, a chat with personalities of such high lineage is as valuable as an articulate course such as the one that Blockchain Week Rome proposes for 28 and 29 May.
