Andreessen Horowitz (known as 'a16z') is a Silicon Valley venture capital firm specialising in early, mid-stage, growth and late stage start-up investments.
It was founded in 2009 by Marc Andreessen and Ben Horowitz. To date, a16z has raised $7.1 billion, through seven funds, including $650 million in Bio funds.
