Sicily Crypto Summit
On 18 July 2026, Riccardo Curatolo conceived and directed the first edition of the Sicily Crypto Summit, hosted at the Centro Culturale Polivalente Michele Abbate in Caltanissetta under the patronage of the Municipality of Caltanissetta. The day brought together more than one hundred attendees and over twenty speakers, including entrepreneurs, professionals, developers, financial operators and institutional representatives, with the support of local and industry sponsors.
The Summit stems from a clear thesis: Sicily should not be a periphery of innovation, but a place capable of attracting skills, networks and investment. The format combines technical education, regulatory discussion and networking, with the aim of building an annual gathering that connects the European Web3 ecosystem, Sicilian businesses, universities and local institutions. The second edition is in preparation and expressions of interest are already open at sicilycryptosummit.com.
