Security
There is no record of any authority supervising the custody of funds deposited on HitBTC. The legal notices allow the platform to reject deposits and suspend withdrawals if the provider that handles its compliance detects suspicious activity. On 3 October 2025 the outlet ForkLog reported the case of a user who says around 100,000 dollars have been blocked since April 2025 "due to suspicious activity" and that inactivity fees were charged after six months; HitBTC did not respond to the outlet. It is an individual case, reported by the person concerned.
Headquarters and contacts
- Cannot be verified: the terms of service (February 2026) name Htechno Business Ltd, which claims to be incorporated in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, but the country's authority denies this. The website publishes only email contacts.
- Official website: no link, because the domain is the subject of warnings from several authorities.
