On October 29, 2026, Binance lost approximately $6.34 billion in one of the most sophisticated attacks the crypto industry has recorded. The exchange published its first technical report on November 3, reconstructing how attackers entered through a tampered installer in June, escalated via a fake job interview in September, and ultimately drained hot wallets using an internal AI tool and EIP-7702 delegations on Ethereum. Around $2.85 billion has been frozen. The report is a preliminary, self-authored account: the announced independent review has not yet been delivered.

SpazioCrypto reviewed the report published on Binance Square (which timestamps in Singapore time) and cross-referenced it with CoinDesk and The Hacker News. All times below are converted to UTC.
